Vision for Events

Our target is to run at least two events per month, for ten months of the year, and release a monthly newsletter in parallel.  We will offer a regular schedule of high-quality, entirely virtual events that will be run at a range of times to accommodate attendees around the world.

Formats may include:

  • Panel discussions with experts who will explore relevant talking points within the field of cybersecurity.
  • Interviews with experts in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Pre-prepared formal presentations and “masterclass” webinars by cybersecurity experts.
  • Study groups and virtual professional networking where members can engage in conversations with each other around cybersecurity and business analysis.
We would appreciate conversations and presentations on the following example topics:
  • How can BAs get involved in cybersecurity, and how can cybersecurity professionals learn and practice better business analysis?
  • Why should business analysts learn about cybersecurity?  We will explore how it relates to the work that we do, and what value a knowledge of cybersecurity brings to our work.
  • Case studies from successful projects with significant security or privacy considerations where we explore the technologies, techniques and lessons learned.
  • Masterclasses in topics drawn from the Certified Cybersecurity Analyst (CCA) syllabus.
